Location
The
villa is in North Tuscany, close to La Spezia and Pontremoli, just over
an hour from Pisa, Parma and Genova airports. Click

Medici castle which overlooks the picturesque medieval town of Bagnone,
the villa is a 10 minute stroll down the hill to the town square and its
shops, bars and restaurants. Although within easy reach of the centre
of the town, the villa retains a sense of seclusion set in 3000 square
metres of private land, bordered by a mountain stream at the bottom of
the garden.
Just
up into the hills from the Ligurianian coastline, the house is about 35
minutes from the beach, 55 minutes from the nearest ski resort. Close
by there's the romantic walled city of Lucca, the five cliff top fishing
villages of Cinque Terre, Portovenere, Portofino, and a host of medieval
villages amongst the rolling hills of North Tuscany. Florence is around
2 hours drive from the villa.
